Estate Wedding in Ohio

Mr. and Mrs. Tolle had a gorgeous Estate Wedding in Ohio at Derby Lane Estate this summer.

The heat was intense this day, but that didn’t stop us from capturing stunning portraits of the couple! This Estate Wedding in Ohio had some really fun elements that I loved capturing. This luxury estate was inspired by California-country decor which sits on 45 acres of land. Although it’s California inspired, being a Kentucky girl, I loved the horse elements sprinkled throughout the house. You can tell that the owners and designers took their time designing this space to reflect the modern trends of today while adding unique details.

Shelby decided on modern colors as well to flatter the venue. She went with black, white, and silver to add to the timeless mood of her day.

One of my favorite details of the day, was that Shelby’s dress served two different purposes. She had a large skirt attached that she wore for the ceremony, but when the party began she was able to remove it to be more comfortable and relaxed! We captured their sunset portraits in the second “look” which I thought was perfect!

Shelby & Cody ended the night by dancing under the twinkle lights on their modern black and white dance floor, with the beautiful rolling hills as a back drop! What a way to end a gorgeous, special day!
