Asian elements intertwined at this western location (The Lodge at Blue Sky ) provided an incredible juxtaposition for this editorial. Modern, fun, adventurous and bold are also words I would use to describe this Park City elopement. This editorial was created to inspire the bride who has an eye for detail but also loves to be laid back.
For me, it was so refreshing photographing something that illustrates another culture besides my own. Its also refreshing seeing the use of colors that are my favorite. I absolutely love dusty blue, deep greens and gold. I truly hope more brides are inspired by the bold color palette and choose to think outside of the box for their upcoming wedding.
Rachael Ellen Events also really embraced the true meaning of BOLD, by using pops of red and oranges in the floral arrangements. I love the contrast!
This Park City Elopement will probably be one of my favorite editorials I have ever photographed because of how amazing the details were. We were blessed at the end of the session to have a beautiful golden sunset at the top of a mountain to capture gorgeous sunset portraits. We had to move quick because the light went fast! It was also freezing! The model (bride) ended up wearing socks under her dress because it was so chilly at the top of the mountain, but you would never know!
